The Razor Slim headphones from Walker's are highly effective active hearing protectors. The headphones are equipped with a passive protection level of NRR 23 dB, making them perfect for the shooting range, hunting or high noise conditions. The canopies of the protectors are made of lightweight polymer. Which translates into comfortable wearing for extended periods of time.
Volume control is carried out with a convenient fluted knob. At the same time, an automatic cut-off system turns off the microphones in just 2 ms when a safe sound ceiling is exceeded. Combined with passive hearing protection at 23 dB NRR, this provides effective protection against intense noise, such as gunshot sounds.
The foldable, adjustable design makes it easy to transport in a military backpack, for example, and allows the headphones to fit the size and shape of your head. Built-in two omni-directional microphones accurately pick up ambient sounds and transmit them amplified to the shooter's ears. The ear protectors are equipped with Full Dynamic Range HD speakers, so the user hears clear and crisp sound.
The headphones have an audio jack input jack for plugging into communication systems. The device is powered by two pieces of AAA batteries, which are easy to replace and require only the removal of a panel on the side of one of the shells.
