Ultrasonic repellent is a modern solution for protection against ticks and fleas for pets. The principle of operation is based on the emission of sound waves above 20,000 Hz, which humans and pets do not feel, and they repel ticks and fleas, among other things. This solution provides safe and long-lasting protection without the use of chemicals.
The repellent is compact and generates a protection range of up to 1.5 meters. The device has two ultrasonic pulse emitters working in each direction. The sound waves cause disorientation in ticks and fleas by affecting their nervous system. Thanks to the use of sounds above the human hearing range of about 40,000 Hz, it is safe for humans, as well as children and people using medical devices and animals.
The device is operated with a button, after which we get feedback via an LED. The built-in lithium battery lasts up to 10 months of operation, depending on the intensity of its use. Using the animal repellent, the user will minimize potential problems during survival and bushcraft.
The device is activated by pulling the strap from the side of the case and holding the button until the LED blinks several times. To check the efficiency when using the device, simply press the button and see if the LED blinks. When attaching the repellent, point it with the slits inward, towards the torso of the animal. No single means of protection can ensure full effectiveness.
