Description
In order to provide adequate ventilation, the boots are equipped with a Gore-Tex® membrane. This model has a side zipper, which increases the speed of putting on the boots.
The iCS® insole features gel inserts in the forefoot and under the heel to improve cushioning. Under the heel is a disc that has four main positions and four intermediate positions:
- F (Firm): more cushioning
- C (Cusion): greater shock absorption
- I (Inward): greater support for feet with a tendency to wear down the inner part of the sole
- O (Outward): greater support for feet with a tendency to wear the outer part of the sole
The shoe uses a non-slip, oil and acid resistant sole. Bates boots are made according to the European standard ENISO 20347
